How To Have The Perfect Hair For Your Perfect Outdoor Wedding

One thing that a bride-to-be dreams of is having a perfect wedding. That includes the perfect venue, the perfect dress, the perfect reception and the perfect hair. I know this may sound silly but if you are anything like me you wouldn’t want anything out of place, not even a strand of hair. Keeping your hair from falling, flying or frizzing can be quite a task on your wedding day, especially when your having your perfect outdoor ceremony. But there are always different methods to deal with your hair woes. Luckily, I have a few tips that will help you deal with all the hair static and frizz you may experience on your big day!

Are you having your outdoor wedding ceremony in a hot or dry area? If this describes your outdoor wedding venue climate, you may be concerned about your hair being dry and dull. But there’s no need to worry, about two or three months before the wedding get a deep condition once a week. You could also get a hot oil treatment, close to the ceremony date. Another great tip is to keep your hair trimmed and try not to use any heating hair tools on your mane. Remember the more heat you apply, the more your hair will remain dry!

Is your outdoor wedding in a damp and humid region? If this applies to you, frizzy hair may be a big issue for you. It’s inevitable that your hair will be frizzy, so the key here to keep your frizz under control. Trust me, it can be done! Months before your special day you must apply frizz-fighting serum to your wet hair and comb it out so it can be easily distributed throughout the hair. Invest in pomade; this will be your best friend even after your wedding ceremony! Before the ceremony, lightly apply the pomade on your hair. Don’t apply to much, the goal is to maintain the frizz, not weigh your hair down.

Having your wedding in a cold and dry location? If your answer is yes, you may be dealing with dry hair and a lot of static. Having hair that is prone to static is the same as dealing with frizzy hair. You must get weekly deep conditioner months before the wedding. This will help control your mane and keep it moisturized. You should also apply a heat protective cream on your hair before you put any heat on your hair. But if you can, try not to use much heat if possible. On your wedding day, avoid at all cost hair sprays, gels that contain alcohol (yes, there are some out there that don’t) because it dries out your hair. However, you can use a bit of pomade to finish off your style and you will be ready to walk down the aisle with fabulous hair!
