If your answer is yes, I may have the perfect wedding venue for you! Imagine getting married on a glass bridge. Yes, the Grand Canyon Skywalk Glass Bridge has an immaculate view and it is definitely a one of a kind wedding venue. This beautiful structure is actually not located in Grand Canyon Park. In fact, it is located in a smaller part of the Canyon in Arizona.

Why You Should Say Your “I Do’s” At the Grand Canyon Glass Skywalk?

This spectacular glass walkway, owned and operated by the Hualapai Tribe suspends more than 4,000 feet above the canyon’s floor. Only one-hundred and twenty people will be allowed on the bridge at a time and the reservations are accepted. The Skywalk facility includes 6,000 square-foot visitor’s center on three levels—underground, first story and second story. Which will contain a museum, movie theater, VIP lounge, gift shop, and several restaurants and bars. There is also a special section within the venue that will be only for special events.

Walking on air, on your special day? Or Maybe not!

Well you aren’t walking on air literally but hey, it’s your wedding day and I’m sure you will feel like it! Having your wedding at the Grand Canyon Glass Skywalk will be truly exciting but here are a few things you need to know before you make your reservations.

1. Make sure you have an exact head count of your wedding guest. I know that this could be a tedious task but you must be able to tell the Grand Canyon Skywalk Representative, how many people are going to be at the venue so that it won’t reach its capacity.
2. If you decided to have both your wedding and reception at the skywalk, make sure that this wonderful structure accommodates all of your needs, including rooms for the wedding party and a place for the caterers to set up. Just make a check list of things that you would prefer to have and make sure it is available before you make reservations.
3. Please make sure that you visit the venue before you call and make reservations. You would definitely need to check out the amenities and the surroundings before you commit to the venue.
4. Lastly, don’t forget, this glass skywalk is unique and simply gorgeous but it is 4,000 feet above the canyon’s floor! So if have acrophobia and are not adventurous, this is not the venue for you!

Look no further. Here are three of the “hottest” deserts where you can exchange your vows.

1. The Sonaran Desert, covers Southern Arizona and Northwestern Mexico and is one of the largest and hottest deserts in North America. The Sonaran Desert offers its beauty and fascinating preserved state. The Sonaran presents a variety of events from bass fishing, mountain biking, jeep tours and horseback riding. If you and your groom are courageous and love the outdoors, the Sonaran Desert would be a fabulous place for you to have your wedding ceremony.

2. Located in Arizona, the Grand Canyon is another magnificent place to wed. The allure and popularity are two reason many people chose the Grand Canyon to celebrate their nuptials. The Grand Canyon offers not only an astonishing view, it provides mule rides, white water-rafting and helicopter tours. If you are looking for a fun, exceptional place to wed, the Grand Canyon is definitely the best spot for you!

3. Another brilliant desert to get married is the Red Rock Canyon, located in Nevada. With only a short drive away from the Las Vegas Strip, the Red Rock is a gorgeous Oasis in the desert. If you and your groom are “dare-devils”, this is the perfect place for you to celebrate your nuptials. Besides the Red Canyon being considered one of the most beautiful places in Nevada, it is known for its rock climbing, hiking, hummer tours and horseback riding.
